Using ribbon as garden twine

How have I never done this before? Practical and pretty?? Catch me using ribbon for all my future plant-tying needs. The fibers of the ribbon cling to the wooden deck post sooo well!

(P.s. this ‘compact’ cucumber was only supposed to grow 8-12 inches tall… so the ribbon was improv🙈)
