• Very easy to grow

• Perennial in most climate zones

• Scent deters many garden pests

• Gorgeous pink flowers in summer

• Flowers are long-lasting in vases

• Free seeds from flowers

• Can be eaten (including flowers)

• Delicious in most savory dishes

As a horticulturalist & onion-lover, this has been my favorite plant for all the reasons above :)
